Welcome to Neurofeedback Today

The purpose of this website is to provide information about neurofeedback, a form of biofeedback that uses EEG data to improve brain functioning. It’s a bit “high-tech” to understand very quickly, but this site will provide you with some of the basics.
Neurofeedback has actually been around for quite a while, though it’s just becoming widely known at the present time. To many people it’s the “new kid on the block” in terms of psychological treatments. Books, news shows, and articles have described it’s positive results in glowing terms, as well as the comments of those who have concerns because it is new and “different.”
Kids Can Benefit
Neurofeedback is very effective for treating many of the emotional and behavioral problems associated with childhood, including ADHD.
As you’ll learn here, neurofeedback addresses cognitive “dysregulation,” which is a primary cause of some of the most difficult-to-treat childhood problems.
Of course, neurofeedback doesn’t just help children. Many adults also receive help through neurofeedback for a wide variety of problems.
A Leap Forward
In many ways neurofeedback has been a “missing piece” in psychological treatment. It does certain things that nothing else seems to do…and often quite well. In fact, neurofeedback can offer relief for some conditions that other forms of treatment can’t touch. You can read here to find out what conditions are helped by neurofeedback.
